The voyage planner computes the fastest route between the given origin and destination (including optional ‘via’ points). Ship dimensions, fairway properties, operating hours of locks and bridges, tidal windows and active notices to skippers are taken into consideration in the computation. The calculation can be done using predefined speeds or average passage durations (beta service - deviations are possible).
